Somebody PLEASE convince me to not buy one.

No can do.  Especially if it can be had by cash and carry.

FPNI.  Patent infringement too.  Guess we're all gonna have dead dogs soon.

I saw this on social media this morning and came here to post it. You got to it first.

Do they have an ATF letter finding it not a MG yet? I mean... I WANT one, and FATF&E but without a letter, you're asking for your dog to be shot.

Hide your dog OP

That trigger is begging for a knock on the door, lol.

Sure is cool though.

With all the crap going on now,  I hope they have coffee and coffee-cake for the visitors that will be showing up...

With ammo at $3/round, I can see someones house payment in brass on the gound in about 3 minutes

Agreed. What makes it great? Did it do as advertised in the video. Good reset? Outrun the carrier?

Details

ETA. I tried emailing the company with questions and concerns. So far no return contact. There is no listed telephone number to call. I need clarification on things before I spend $

They got back to both my emails within an hour.
I asked about short-throw safeties (they work)
and also if there's uncomfortable trigger slap (he said it isn't uncomfortable).

Just sent another email so I guess we will see.

Works as advertised, didn't outrun the carrier at all. Did a D60 and an M3, zero issue. Vltor A5 AH50 buffer and 20" rifle gas/barrel. Trigger slap was nonexistent. I've owned first gen NPAPs that beat the shit out of my finger and this didn't feel any different than shooting a regular AR trigger.

If i'm understanding this correctly, consistent rearward pressure will result in...rapid, but semi-automatic fire. IE each pull of the trigger releases a single round, but the reset happens forcefully, rather than by the shooter intentionally releasing rearward pressure.

This is really cool. I don't see it ending well and it would make me nervous as hell to own one, but it's badass.

That’s also my concern. I can’t afford 400 just to be told I have to give it back in 6 months.

A letter means nothing anymore since the BATFE can change it's mind like a woman, and local/fed gov'ts can also deem it a scary machine gun and ban it.

If you buy it just be careful where you use it so as not to draw too much attention.

@goggi

Does the safety selector work similar to a binary trigger - safe, semi, FRT - or are your options safe and FRT?

@goggi  So it basically allows you to "ride the reset" for faster firing, similar to a bumpstock / slidefire?

After reading discussions on a few other forums the consensus seems to be the same; this product won’t be on the market for long.

The thing that puts this in jeopardy is from my understanding, it operates with some forward assistance (maybe I’m wrong on that).

Hey if anyone wants a finders fee to get one for me in Florida I’m game lol.

So how do you shoot it semi-auto? If the only settings are SAFE and SEMI, is there a sweet spot of finger pressure where it's not enough to release the trigger again on SEMI?

According to the animation, it looks like no matter how much pull pressure you have (5lbs or more), it will force reset. It doesn't seem to have a "sweet spot"

Honestly I would not pay that much for any kind of trigger anywhere I'm to cheap for that.

If they had a brick & mortar storefront where I could walk in and pay cash, I'd consider it. As it stands now with online sales, fuck no. I'm not leaving a paper trail for my dog to get shot.

Pfftt.. if yer gonna break the law, or its the end of society as we know it .why spend money and get on a list In my honest opinion I’ll just spend 5 min with a coat hanger and a pair of needle nose pliers  that will do the job. Amazing the info available  just google cloths hanger sear then go to images a couple of ways and methods   so easy a caveman can do it  you can thank me latter if its not verbotton
