I have shot this loading many times. It was the default loading for many of the Police departments in Alabama and Georgia that I had worked with back in the early 2000s. I would rate it similar to Federal HST in performance and reliability.
Hopefully you got it for a good price. I have seen many people buy them for $40+ a box of 50 from local gun shops and get ripped off. You can usually find them online for $25 a box or less/50 round box . |

I can't address its terminal performance, but I've shot some and found it accurate and controllable.

Widely used by law enforcement. It, along with federal HST are my carry rounds of choice. I have complete faith in them both

Ya its a personal favorite. Its my carry ammo for when I carry the G23. First two rounds I fired I was actually able to recover and I was more then impressed with the expansion.

The RA9TA (9MM 127grain) is my departments duty ammo.
It's pretty good stuff. I trust it with my life for sure. Expansion is decent also. |

The HSTs are prettier, but I doubt they are any more effective.
