Here is my attempt at Proto Uppers. I was a little late to the Brownells party for a complete Firearm, so I had to piecemeal two together, scrounging parts where I could find them. I realize one upper isn't aesthetically correct, but round handguards with a heat shield were none existent at the time. The FSB was fabricated by a friend from pictures and his knowledge of the AR-15/M-16

A member of the retro forum sent me an ORIGINAL.
I did the drawing I posted, but we never produced them. I apologize that I don't remember who gave it to me, otherwise I would give them a shout out.

Checking in late to the party. Yes, the one in the photos is mine and I still have it. But there must be at least two of them out there as I never sent mine to Mike for him to measure.
Now I'm curious and will get mine out and compare dimensions from the print. |
