How much was a box of 20 or a case of 500 pre-pandemic prices?

Is there a way to easily identify which are overruns vs factory seconds?

Any experience with the factory seconds? Should I stay away from them?

Is the Mod 0 better than the green Mod 1?

Thank you.

I like the Mod 1 better as it is more accurate.

0.85ppr at Target Soorts USA when in stock (same as Mod 0)

What about long-term storage and wound cavity/penetration?

Who gets the nod? Mod 0 or Mod 1?

I read the interview with the USMC engineer when the was discussing the change from mod 0 to mod 1 but always leary of changes for the sake of going green.

Does anyone have any experience directly comparing Federal MK318 to Winchester OTM 62 grain match?

I have only seen real world wound cavities with Mod 0- it’s pretty nasty stuff when compared to M193 and M855...

Could you elaborate on what the mk318 wound cavities were like (diameter, degree of fragmentation, exit wound size, etc.) if possible? I’m thinking of picking some up in the future and I’d love to know how it performs on flesh.

Yes, if you are talking about T556TNB1 and Win USA3162W accuracy. I have no experience with barrier penetration or gel.
I have shot a lot of both in various barrels and lengths. Hands down, not even close, for me the USA3162W is a lot more accurate

Here's my test of both:

Thank you for that.

What is the difference between these two Winchester 62 OTM?

USA3162W vs ZQ3343

Former is the stuff made in Sweden (excellent).
The latter is, from brief research, by Win out of a US plant (brass WMA marked).
Velocity of the the Win stuff reported close to the Swedish.
Main diff seems to be packaging, with the US-made stuff in cardboard, with 3x 10-rd strippers.
Have not fired the ZQ.  The USA-branded 3162W made in Sweden is outstanding; glad I built a fort of it while it was around.

Yes, that is as far as I got.

I think the Swedish [USA3162W] primers and case neck is sealed. Does anyone have actual pictures of the ZQ3343? I wonder if they are sealed also?

Few pics here at this sales link.  (I have no connection to them.)   Believe you can embiggen.  Primers don't look sealed to my tired eyes.

I was paying .70-.75 for Mod 0. Have some Mod 1 too that I purchased in the EE for a little less.

The Mod 1 looks cooler, but I'm a little concerned with it's non-lead primers and long term storage. You would think it being a military round that it wouldn't be an issue, but we are talking .gov here.

FWIW, Federal told me the projectile is lead-free but not the primer.
