The smaller of these two. This is for a handguard.

Thanks

You’ll get a better answer with another picture of the screw removed and in profile.

flat socket cap I think for the top one.

socket cap head for bottom.

different head styles, top one is normally coned shaped in cross section.  Bottom one is not normally.

Edit, a quick call to the CS line of the handguard manufacturer would likely get you the exact screw they want in there.  Forcing a cone head in tight on a brittle part can cause a crack.  Using a flat bottomed cap head in a place where a cone head may not keep the held part located properly.   They can tell you exactly the size and type of fastener or may even just drop a replacement in the mail to you.

Used gear?

Looks like a Pan head screw but could also be a cheese head screw.

If you are replacing them the button head looks a little bit better. Same hex size as the small one just a rounded head.

What size hex wrench did you use to remove the screws?  This is standardized and I can get you close.

If you have calipers and measure over the thread, I can get you closer or exact size.

Take it to the hardware store and try nuts on it to get the size and thread pitch.

Thanks, everyone. The hard part was in finding a real hardware store.

Thanks again.
