i've had some issues with gun, came over gassed but PSA corrected the issue, I changed to a free float handguard, and after having some case sizing issues have gotten to the range to start testing.
4 loads, AA 2200 powder 38, 39, and 40 grains under a hornady bulk 150 gr FMJ with cannalure  and then 3 rounds of something with a 150 SP i had lying around just to make sure that i had a zero.
50 yards 5 shot groups:
38 gr 1.8"
39 gr 0.8"
40 gr 1.8"
soft point 0.5"
but most fun was cleaning.
2 patches wet with hopes #9 followed by 2 dry patches.
here's what the second patch looked like.  and no patch had any copper!  this is normal cleaning on this nitrided barrel and on my  nitrided 300 BO barrels also from PSA.

I've been working through some issues with my gen 1 SS barrel.

the newest 2200 data has a 150gr .308 load spec'd max at 40.5gr but 150 is the heaviest bullet.  since i have an 8lb keg thought i'd try it.  bought it WAY back when they were giving it away for use in 7.62x30 and .223 but never used it.  Oh, forgot but those were molly'd bullets.  testing today with some naked high end bullets.  if they leave copper i just may coat them too like i always did for my competition bullets
