Debating going with the AR-V builder set and the roller delayed unlocking buffer instead of fighting my RDB CMMG and JP silent capture buffer setup. Haven't seen much talk on here about the AR-V.

Son and I are both Lefty's. I have both (SBR'd) and shoot them suppressed 100% of the time. CMMG was bought as a complete gun. 4.5" barrel and is the model with regular AR lower that runs Endomags. It has run flawless. No complaints.

AR-V was bought as a builders kit. I used a cheap, 4.5" barrel and it too has run flawless. Only complaint is as a Lefty, it is very gassy.  Installed an ODIN works secondary buffer/stock assembly and it is much better but still needs improvement on gas to the face. I'm debating going with Maxim RDB buffer for this very reason. Curious as to what you learn.

Only complaint on AR-V, besides gas, is the funky bolt release sliding button. I may install a longer barrel on it purely for aesthetic reasons. 4.5" is short.

My CMMG barrel is 8" suppressed 100% and seeing that people are having issues with CMMG keeping up with ejection solutions. See there is a new bolt out but if they are going to start charging for updated parts then I am wanting to get out of the parts and into something with less headache and better long term stability.
