I'd tested the PSA 77SMK loading already but wanted to test it again against the other 77SMK loadings.
So I did a few days ago.
Again this was the PSA 77SMK load, not their OTM offering.
The Test: 200yd, benched, 10 shots slow fire with a 20" Krieger SR barrel and M4 Scope on top.
TLDR: The PSA quality was poor as usual- dents dings, flattened primers etc but shot ok. It's not running "5.56" velocities as some have suggested.
But it didn't have a bullet seated backwards like the FGM did. The mk262 ROCKED it.

Details:
-shot at an elevation of 5545ft.
-Conditions: warm (85F), breezy and bright.
-Rifle: Krieger 20" SR barrel with 691rds on it, Match chamber. Leupold mk4 scope on it.
-shot off bench......... shoot one, dry fire one. Bore snaked between different loads.
-Chrono was 15ft from muzzle.
Results, in order of shooting:
SEE PHOTOS
PSA: 10 shots ave 2753fps SD: 16.73 GROUP: 0.99 MOA
FGM: ONLY 9 shots (didn't shoot the backwards bullet) ave 2706fps SD: 30.14 GROUP: 1.064 MOA
BHA: 10shots ave: 2827fps SD:16.00 GROUP: 0.632 MOA
Mean Radius's are listed on/in the photos.
BHA's ammo crushed it and at what you might call "5.56" velocities. The Brass looked good before and after.
FGM's backwards bullet was the only defect noted with that ammo but that's doosy.
