Pretty sure it's a typo/typos. I see it listed almost verbatim on other vendor sites. I have not seen any recent vids/tests on this ammo, IIRC 2016 was the most recent that came up. |

I bought some from OutdoorLimited.com in July 2023. Lot PPU 20006-03
Their descripton: Prvi PPU 5.56x45mm NATO Ammunition PPSS109 62 Grain SS109 Steel Core Full Metal Jacket Green Tip (Tips Not Painted) It has a strong attraction to a magnet, so it has the steel core. And the tips are NOT painted. The boxes say "SS 109" |

the picture in the ad has "ss109" right on the boxes. why would you think it wasn't an ss109 projectile?
