I live in California (unfortunately) and I came across an insane deal, 1,000 Prvi Partizan 5.56x45mm m193 ammunition for $160, even tulammo here is about $240 for 1k so I jumped at it and bought what they had left (2k rounds)

I've never used or even heard of PPU, is there ammuntion gtg or does anybody have some experience with it?

Ppu is excellent ammo.
Ive used their 223, 5.56, 380 and 357 mag.
Their 223 out of a 223 wylde barrel
was grouping quite well and their 158gr 357 ammo
creates a nice flame out of my S&W 586.
Good shit imo

I'd buy every round I could of honest to goodness PPU for 16 cents a round that I could.

Fantastic ammo

My XCR shoots the 69 and 75 gr. match very well. 55 gr. is good to go, as well.

That's a great deal anywhere in the US.

That’s an awesome price.

It’s not the most accurate ammo. But it goes bang every time and wouldn’t get you killed if you relied on it for most typical self-defense scenarios.

I’m curious how well it reloads. I’ve got some empties piling up but haven’t inspected them yet.

The brass is thick and the crimp on the primer pocket is heavy. Great brass after the first processing

My experience is the same. Even after crimp removal, primers still go in way tighter than any other brass. But it’s good stuff.

The ammo you got (for a smoking deal, of course) is great stuff. I’m actually about to order another 1k today.

PPU M193 and Wolf Gold are what I consistently buy.

That's a hell of a deal you found, OP.
