Hello! I've been scamming hard here the last several months. I built an AR for, (with), my brother about 5 years ago and finally went after my own. Just finished up a few weeks ago and I've got another lower that's just not willing to sit there so another one in the works.

Haven't shot more than 25 rounds yet and first 20 was just getting gas block adjusted/roughing in the scope, (truck hood rest....), and enjoying the fact the She Lived! Five from a rest were OK but I really need everyone to calm the f&$* down on the powder and bullets so I can restock the meager 6.5 stash and actually shoot it and have some left to load again! Hope you all like it. There's a wealth of information in here that I've been sifting through pretty regularly.

Is it purely store bought? Yes? Not a build.
Have you modified it to a point where it has an effective difference from it's original configuration or built it from the ground up to best fit your applications? Yes? That's a build.

And that ain't to say there's anything wrong with store bought - if you're running something like a 12.5 Triarc or a DD Mk18 and all you did was slap an Aimpoint PRO and a sling on it, while it's not really a build persay it's an outstanding fighting carbine to be proud in and happy with.
