I really need a cantilever ACOG mount of some type probably but I'm not keen on spending more money on it yet. It's pretty fast to acquire but nothing equals the speed of a red dot/holo for <100 yds. Time will tell how I like it. Price is right and it comes in FDE |

Ordered a Steiner P4Xi 1-4X24 and Midwest QD Mount for Optics and a brown Radian charging handle.

Also need some accessories like vertical grip, light mount, forward sling swivel QD, rail panels, etc. I have a tan Vickers sling in the mail too. I'm also not 100% happy with the particular DDC shade I got and how it blends with the B5 Coyote Brown stuff. I may actually have it Cerakoted (or do it myself with Aluma-Hyde) a dark brown similar to the DD Milspec+. https://www.dropbox.com/s/c4rg4xs474opc1b/IMG_1391.jpg?raw=1 View Quote |

Here is my rendition of a modern A2ish build. It has a Bravo Company A2 gov't upper with a Palmetto Nickel BCG and a Bravo CH(the big latch one) on an Anderson lower. it has a tactical Phantom FH, an adjustable Magpul pro rear sight, Magpul handguards, angled fore grip, fixed buttstock with storage, pistol grip. The lower parts are Palmetto, and the trigger is a Velocity 4lb steel trigger(it always works on even the hardest primers). The scope is a 2.5x Primary arms with the ACSS reticle. All it really needs is a small riser for the scope - I can see a little too much of the front sight post when using it. It is a full size ACOG mount so I'm still working on that. So far its about a 2 1/2 inch group with LC m193, and about 1.5 inch with imi 69gn SMK at 100 yards.

Quick tip, fellas. If you want to build some mk12 and recce clones, and want an excuse for the SO to sign off on the can purchase, build her a rifle with the OPS mounting system. "It'll work on this gun for you too sweetie."
