Almost done. The only thing left is a mounting plate for the light switch.

I'm not in love with the way the M612 mounts. I can't put it where I want it without moving the front sight way back. I tried a DD front sight, but that didn't help. I guess I'm going to live with it like it is for now.

Mega side charger upper (came with a Y/M Natl Match BCG- replaced with the Lantac)
BHW 22” semi bull 1:7 5.56 Wilde no gas port barrel in Burnt Bronze Cericote
Magpul PRS adjustable stock, Nikon M308 glass and one piece mount, Hogue freefloat tube with bi-pod
KNS pins, Geissele designated marksman 2 stage trigger and Lantac Enhanced Straight Pull BCG (will not work with gas configuration)

That's exactly what I did...I have a 10.5" mk18 style upper for home defense and close range fun then the !4.5" for the mid range hunting and range work.

Thanks! I had a lot of things fall in to place sales wise, so I was finally able to build it. It has the BA 10.3" Hanson Precision 300 blackout barrel. I wanted a black barrel because of all the grey, but I wasnt going to turn down this barrel between the price and reviews it has.

I havent had/dealt with any high end rails, so to speak, but I got the STNGR HWK because it was a good price and I liked the look. I was really impressed with the finish and quality of the rail, so it sealed the deal on it being the one to use for the build. I'll definitely use more of their rails on future builds

I already shot the upper but finished the lower today and installed the optic. I originally had a Magpul AFG but didn't like how it cocked my wrist and went with the rail covers which feels a whole lot better. I was torn between the Vortex, Burris and Primary Arms scope. I never found a Primary Arms to look through but the Burris had a very narrow eye box whereas the Vortex is very forgiving on eye placement. This is also my first build using an Anderson Arms lower and everything went together well. Pmags don't drop free but USGI and Lancers do and they are my primary use mags anyways.
