I've got the opportunity to do some horse trading for a POF P308 & I know exactly dick about them. I've been very very resistant to getting into the Ar10 world for a plethora of reasons, but I feel that it's time to get on the wagon.

What are the pros & cons of this particular platform? Parts one should have for backup?  Is the E2 chamber practical or or a gimmick?  Other little things I should be aware of.

What Generation is it? Need to know that before you can get a run down on it. Different gens have additional or different features.

Took the plunge & picked it up. Pretty sure that its an earlier generation.  

Just a heads up if you want to change out the hand guard to the new one that POF offers you need to send it back to them. It has M-Lok and front section with the 1913 rails.
