Just say no to the mediocre Chinese Weaver Kaspa.

Say YES to this true Japanese Weaver Grand Slam Tactical.  Mil/mil, mil dot, true tracking and repeatable turrets,  amazingly good glass.  Currently $189. There is no other under $200 tactical scope that is anywhere close to it.  I paid $300 for mine 3 or 4 years ago on sale and they were often selling for $399.  It was a steal at $300.  Nothing cheap about it other than its close out pricing.

Here it is on my long range Sako/Douglas long-range 6mm bolt gun.

I've had one for about 4 years now. I've tried to hate it but I can't. It just flat out works. The glass is the nicest I've seen in a scope of that price range. I have the 3-12x44 mil/mil on a hunting AR and it's been banged around quite a bit. You get what you pay for but it's definitely one of the better cheap scopes. If you are serious about it, save up a little more and get a Vortex PST

I used to own one of those.  Fantastic scope for the money.

Agree.  To me the bottom line scope's I would consider would be the leupold vx1 line, burris fullfield 2, nikon prostaff, bushnell elite 3200 etc etc.  Basically you can get a basic 3x9x40 in one of these lines in the $150 range.  Obviously if you want more features or more magnification the price goes up.  But these basic models are reliable with decent glass.  I am pretty sure all the ones I listed are not made in china!  In scopes typically you got chinese crap<decent chinese crap<philipines<japan/usa<european.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that all but one here has never used or spent time behind a Weaver Kaspa.

Go find us a legitimate review out there from an owner where this scope failed, had bad glass clarity, or crapped otherwise.

Not saying it doesn't exist, just curious.

I have one that came with my son's savage axis 2 youth.  Its held its zero but the glass is most certainly not up to even say burris fullfield 2 quality or nikon prostaff, they are cheaper so thats not super surprising.  Google weaver kaspa failure and you won't have any trouble with people saying the scope is junk, But you can find negative reviews of any scope.
But amazon reviews aren't that positive towards the scope 3.5 on this model out of 5.  I typically don't order anything below 4 stars on amazon.

now compare those reviews to something like this nikon
