PSA M4 Carbine lower, combination of Geissele and CMMG lower parts kits. Magpul MOE K2+ grip with oil bottle. KAK Shockwave Blade 1.0 with 7075 buffer tube. HexMag in OD green. Not pictured is a Kerm-Lock light mount with a Surefire 6P / Malkoff M61 drop in unit. I consider this my KISS pistol / truck gun. I may change out the CH to a Radian Raptor ambi version, but other than that I think this is done. |

Pistol was a full Cerakote job other than what I could buy in OD green, which was only the pistol grip.
The rifle was a 80% lower and upper already in OD green, and then lightly sand blasted and painted the plastic hand guards Cerakote OD green.  Attached File Attached File |

"Magpul" OD green is pretty dark. When you google OD or olive drab green, there's pretty much every shade under the sun, so there doesn't seem to be a consensus on what OD green should be. Any shade is of green/brown is going to be better than black, which doesn't occur much in nature.

Slight re-config. Lantac black TD/Pivot pin set More Magpul FDE rail ladder Magpul MIAD ODG grip UTG Pro Matte Bronze RE Geissele DDC ACH Still needs the Schuster Mfg delrin FA plug. USPS hasn't moved this in the Columbus sorting facility in 5 days. Good thing I opted for priority mail from Midway... Lol! I sent a request to Aero (begging, actually) to re-release the ODG anodized M4E1 receiver set. Told them they should make it a regular stock set, they'd sell like hotcakes.. My hard earned money awaits. The RGuns ODG upper pictured is a bit of a "pork chop in a hallway" fit. The Aero rear tension screw and a touch of shim-stock up front makes it nice and tight.. enough to suit me anyway. The machining & anodizing is really nice, and overall it's a good value. I had to buy it in a set with a 300BO rollmarked lower. for $175 shipped as a set, it's a steal. Machining & finish on the lower is flawless too. But no rear tension screw.. They told me they're getting out of the Sand/ODG anodized colors. After stock runs out, no more. Truthfully, I'd love to have a G MK8/MK4 (either, or) 7" rail in ODG ano to really get this where I want. But that's never going to happen. So, it'll just have to be my little "sir mix-a-lot" multi-colored blaster. Actually, I really like it... In the meantime...
