I hesitate to submit this to this Most-Holy thread, as this rifle contains the Most-Minimal tanodized-goodness… but I will anyway,
I present to you my “recyclable rifle”, which is so far made up of used/garbage parts (the seller of the rail masked the BCM logo on the rail), and I plan to make everything on this rifle second–hand/circling the drain…. Why is is it here? The DDC Blemula lower, and I otherwise apologize for sullying this thread of pure tanodized sex panthers,,, Please absolve me of my sins, and let me know if you have any advice to make this rifle as hideous as possible… I feel like this is an AR safe-space, and my Gen-X peronsa knows no better than to appeal to you here…

I got the Rail Scales magazine release buttons in. I'm kind of disappointed because they were supposed to be "mil spec" texture and the circles are different than USGI ones. Just my preference, there's nothing wrong with function and no complaints about the color.

i know Geissele, Badger, Unity. i see a few more but can't tell if they're anodized. Kac (i assume yes) midwest industries ADM. the rest you see on the google are obvious cerakote |

To atone for my previous sins to this thread, I offer these submissions…
I’ve been busy on the EE lately and found a few things to change up my Tano Aero and my hideous Geissele attempt from earlier. Now with CMT DRT15 & 17.7 BA Hanson barrel  Attached FileThanks to @MackDaddy1962 for the ODG upper. Bronze Forward Controls trigger guard, Colt ODG buffer tube, and grey furniture in the mail (I still want this to be a mutt). Love the shade of those CMT rails..It's almost like a rose gold with some purple/burgundy hues, much darker than recent DDC but not bronze either.
I bought a G buffer tube in DDC last year and was kinda bummed by it. Very much so gold, not dark at all. Personal preference of course. |
