Funny story on the older Ergo grips. I purchased one a while back to clone the FDNY gun. Then I recently pulled out an old spikes 11.5 I used to beat on back before I got into clones. Low and behold it had an old style Ergo grip on it. I actually had one and never knew. So now I have 2.

I have been back and forth about going with a labradar. It is much les cumbersom than Magnettospeed. But... the missed shots and complicated set up have me just sticking with the magnettospeed. Pistol loads are a different story but I really do not chrono those much. I crank out blaster 9mm on my RL1100 and rarel change anything. If the Labradar just woked a touch better.....maybe. Your experience with it is what I have read and heard a lot but then there are some that I think have extensive experience with it that it works very well for. Dont think I am quite there.

Took me a few trips to figure out the LR, but I wouldn’t trade it for any piece of range gear at this point. Get the inertial trigger so you don’t have to worry about getting missed readings while suppressed, or it’s windy, or you’re at a public range near another shooter. Once you figure out what stand you want to use it on you just set it up the same for every rifle and then you’re good to go. Oh, and you can’t shoot it, which is a plus

Nah, you can do it. It's not in-flight missile repair, just gather the paints, mask off the important bits (ain't gotta be perfect), start with a light coat of the lightest color, then add some darker layers. Don't chase "perfect", you'll over do it and be unhappy about the result. It usually helps to start drinking and when you hit that "fuck it" level of buzz, start spraying.

What he said. $30 in spray paint from Amazon, an old laundry bag, and a couple of beers and you’re golden.

Thanks!  Had a lot of help from a particular someone to get it where it is.  Still need some correct pic rails for it, but definitely shoots like a dream.  It quickly replaced my late mod 0 as my go-to MK12.

Specter gear have been photo’d on multiple mod 1’s.

ETA pics. Second appears to be their raider 2-point sling and top appears to be their 3-point sling which is their version of the TAS-1.  Edit 2:  Sorry, that’s a BFG on top with a Specter buttstock adapter.  Added a third pic with full specter setup.

I'm assembling the various width webbing, velcro and elastic in black, as well as the proprietary ACW quick release buckle, the 6 other pieces of hardware needed to make them:

I'll make a dozen or so complete slings from the front sling swivel adapter, the sling itself, with the M16A1 Rifle Buttstock Adapter (the most labor intensive and intricate component) being optional.

Engineer5  sent me a scan of the original instruction sheet.

Not seeing them individually on their site so am guessing they only sell them with a sling now.  That said, their slings are pretty good price at $30-ish.

Yeah I ordered one, I was just hoping they offered standalone adapters. I have one on my SAM-R, and wanted one to use with a padded VTAC on the mod1.

I have an old GearSector adapter on it now and I have never been happy with it.

Was the Kevin guy and his number posted a few pages back Operations Parts? That's who I got on a waitlist with, and he has shipped a couple batches by this point it seems.

It does look pretty cool but the MK12 gas black actually touches so I had to swap that out as well. The 3.1 will go back on my 16in RECCE build and the MK16 rail on that will probably turn into a 14.5 URGI

If you signed up for the FF ras wait list with operation parts check your emails. They got a batch in and are working down the list. It will not show up as in stock on their site, they are doing them outside of the website based on the wait list. $467 shipped.

That's how companies should do it for parts like that. Fuck scalpers and their bots, if you get on a waitlist for something like that they set aside a rail for you and give you an access code to buy one. Can't even begin to remember how many parts drops I've missed cause some guy had a bot that snagged 10 of them

I noticed the price dropped substancially on the scalper prices, still too high though. I saw one listed for $1500 sell just before these drops started happening.

Guys with the gen 2 handguard is your collar tight against your forearm? If so how many ft/lb is your barrel nut tightened to? Mine is tightened to 40 ft/lb like the PRI site says but the holes in the collar to fit the gas tube through arent lining up with the opening in the upper. I can loosen it a little to get everything lined up bit then the collar isnt tight against the forearm and the only thing that is keeping everythng in place and rigid is the top rail.

PRI suggested 40ft/lb min. You could follow torque specs for standard barrel nuts. and do not exceed 80ft/lb to line up gas tube holes.
