I like the way it looks, but sometime it's hard to get a grip on the rugged oculus (short format)...may try a tad shorter handguard.

Got my barrel back from being chopped today. Thanks for all the help here! It is alive!
This scratches both my .22LR and Retro itch!

It’s a Sig Minimalist stock. Very cool, but the LOP is very short. About 12”.

Lyman 93 Match w/inserts
Lyman 90Mjt Rear Target Sight

Lipski from barrel band sight mount
Lipski rear sight base

Lipski stuff can be found at champschoice.com or okweber.com among others

I like this setup.  It's fun shooting offhand.

@Outrider

Is that a cutdown bbl or stock? I've been wanting to build something similar, holding off in case I can find a 10"-12" 22LR online.

It’s cutdown to mimic a 10.3” 5.56 barrel length.

How come so many of these .22 builds have fancy/expensive muzzle devices? Surely the  owners know these devices accomplish nothing on a .22.

I suppose spoilers and ground effects look cool on Mom’s old Civic, too. But everybody knows they’re just for looks.

A more apt comparison is the plastic bumper covers on econoboxes.  It's only there for looks since if you bump anything harder than insects or raindrops and it's FUBAR, but without the bumper cover, the civic just looks slightly...incomplete.  Same for muzzle devices on 22s!

Maybe they got it for cheap? Maybe spare parts? Maybe knock-off/replicas?

Either way, it's not your money so let them build it the way they want.

Ruger Silent-SR
Millett mount and Bushnell TR25

Will take pics later today, but currently using a KNS rear pic adapter and a Sig MPX folding brace

@boomboomboom

The butt plug is a Troy QD with a standard plate.
Sling and stuff is Magpul.
Handguard is chineseium.
Took it out last weekend and it is Great Fun to shoot. Trying to chase a golf ball at 40 yards.
I was swapping around parts last night trying to get a decent trigger in it.
LaRue singles are still OOS.
