It was either made during the ban era (1994-2004) or shortly after. Recent Gunbroker auctions show them from going from around $1000 up to $1500 depending on condition. IIRC, the PM marked uppers were originally made for the government as spares but many were sold commercially in the 80s - 90s. I'd guess maybe $450 - $500 for the upper assembly with barrel. |

What are the going rates for Colt M16A1 parts kits with original barrels, based on condition?
Thanks. |

I came into possession a box of AR parts last year that included what I took to be an 'Nam era old timey chrome A1 BCG. Recently dug it out and was considering using it to replace the parked bolt in my A1 clone.
Poking around the Retrofblackrifle website, I now believe that it predates the A1 model as it looks to be the spitting image of the Armalite AR15/601/602 bolts depicted there - only with a modified light head firing pin. Any idea what a complete bolt of this vintage is worth these days? |

Posted this on a picture thread and now I’m kinda curious to the value since I can’t find much information on them.

Anyone got an estimation of value on an A2 era Colt 16” pencil barrel with bayonet lug shaved off? What is it worth in this barrel-scarce market?

Colt 6 hole handguards - left side set is in really nice shape, almost NOS on the outside, right side set has the BTDT look, pretty beat but still gtg
Attached File Early NO HOLE set that has some wear on outside and a little glue/goo across the two sides near the gas block end. I would imagine this would come off with some solvent but I am going to leave that to the new owner. No cracks or broken teeth at all, really good shape Attached File Attached File |

Is this a 601 carrier and fat head firing pin? If so, any thoughts on value? I'm going to put them on the EE soon.

Look up user MachineHead in the EE (just search Retro). I believe the firing pin is worth around $125-175. Not exactly sure where in the range it is right now. |

Looking for a value and possible year of the barrel.
Colt 11.5" barrel marked C MP CB Front hand guards no markings I see. A replica moderator flash hider. " />" />" /> |

I have what appears to be a Hydramatic upper with the hallmark forging flash, forge blisters, rebated lugs and machining marks. Condition is fair to good, some dings and scratches, it also appears to have been painted black. Hard for me to value this given its condition, but Hydramatics have also gotten more scarce. Thoughts on value?

So they are probably worth less than that. The problem with “reference” ammo is that I believe the ammo itself looks just like standard ammo, only the box is special. About a year ago I saw a dealer selling empty “reference” boxes. |

Current price for a "big head" foward assist button? Full-round, not shaved it fit the A2 upper.
Oh, and how about a USGI Bipod Marked "Colt's 62122, Hartford, Conn. U.S.A." with canvass carry case marked "Case, Carrying, Bipod, XM3" ? |

Approximate price for late 66ish round forge XM16E1 complete upper. It has an mp12 marked barrel, usgi 3 prong fh, no drain hole fsb, no drain hole hg’s, an early bend tube, and a transitional bcg with chrome gas key with round stakes a parked carrier flathead fp repro milled fprp and mp marked bolt. I would be selling it as mostly a collectors piece as it keyholes.

View Quote I paid $1000 for my mid 60’s Colt upper it’s a round forge, black rebated front lug, no forge code upper, with early no drain hole hand guards, Phosphate BCG, later bend gas tube and a later barrel and front sight post (74ish) (I’ve since put an M VP 12 barrel assembly on it) Also for reference an MP 12 barrel and front sight post just sold on GB last week for $1200 but it looked like it was in good shape. Do you have any pics? Also are you sure it’s the barrel making it keyhole and not the ammo? |

I have an SP1 Ser # 08XXX from 1967. My father purchased it in 1967 and gave it to me when I was 12-years old. Recently I learned about the possible value and rarity, and determined it would be better for a collector to have than for me to keep. The rifle is in great condition and all original with less than 800 round shot through it. We have the original box with a few tears, the original sling, original cleaning kit in the bag, original owners manual, and the two original magazines. The only item missing is the magazine stops to limit the magazines to 5-round capacities. We are currently waiting on a Colt archive letter to add to the collection.
So what is an estimated value of such a firearm and what is the best way to find the appropriate collector for such a gem. And How do I add a picture? |

What's the going price for a Colt Canada (not Diemaco- does not have the raised "D" but does have the CAGE code) carry handle with the A1-style rear sight nowadays? It's in great condition, little to no wear at all.

So I've got these two I may sell. Top is NOS barrel marked C MP Chrome Bore. Bottom has some wear, marked C MP C, no bolt and that gray ch doesn't go with it. Gun Broker is all over the place. What says y'all?
