Someone posted that this did not look like a Colt box, and asked for additional photos. By the time I posted my reply below, their post had disappeared.
The FIRST Colt scopes (and boxes) were made by the “Realist Corporation” in the USA, and this is one of those boxes. ALL of the later Colt scopes and boxes were made in Japan.
