Ok, no way I'm counting the top cap and X24/NX8 changes.

Version 1 - Larue Barrel with low rings

Version 2 - CLE bartlein barrel correct rings

Version 3 - Cerakote Recce Douglas Barrel

Version 4 - Sheffield Clone(cover up Cerakote)

Version 5 - MOH Sopmod Recce w/ 99167 Rail

Version 6 - Back to version 5 but with an NX8 until
I hate the aesthetics and go back to an X24

Pic coming next week.

In reality it's just been two uppers. The original and the Douglas upper. Both went through changes but really only 2.

Realistically this is my favorite setup. It does not look as good as the T1 up top but is much more practical. Put the optic in a better spot and you have full view on the T1.

I also second the NX8, just wish it wasn't so short. the 2.5-10 x24 looks the best.

Yea. I've got some tenebraex caps for the NX8 so it helps.

Just hard to go back to Mil-R after having the DMX.

Does the short or long collar matter for flushness? I picked up an ops inc collar from thorough bred armament, not sure if I got the right one.

On a RAS 15.1"? No. Only thing exposed is the taper and front.

99% sure long collar was used. Can't remember a high enough resolution photo to be 100%. Long collar might not work depending on where your step is located on your barrel profiling.

@tinycrumb is the 416 man to ask.

With a little work, paint can be removed and no one would be the wiser.

Personally I've paint and removed spray paint and could never get it 100% off.

There always seems to have some stuck in the micro texture of the anodizing.

Painting sexy = yes
Painting decrease resale value = very likely

Looks like a NF 4-16 ATACR in Nightforce rings.  Insight MRDS with tan shroud that appears to be on a Insight made scope body mount.  Out of that stuff the MRDS mount will be the hardest to find.  Nearly impossible.  The shrouds are getting scarce as well.

That's what I thought too, but must be a special ATACR 4-16 because it doesn't have the tan NF logo on the knob. Also the rings look tanodized but the only tanodized rings for 34MM tubes are 1". The ones in the photo looks 1.50 height.

Not special, just an early non-illuminated 4-16 atacr with T3 reticle. I had one at one point

Only pic I could find of it showing the left side

Cool. I would have never guessed that. Thanks for the help in ID-ing the optic. The rings continue to be a mystery because of the quality of the image.

Maybe they were painted and reused from another setup?

Where was the pic from?  I reached out to socom_archive on IG to see if he had a hi-res version of it.   He had never seen that setup before.

This one is def a 1-8 atacr.

The other is a mil spec x42 atacr. There was just one on the hide for a good deal. Sub 2k.

Def painted 1.5" NF rings. Unless they made tano ones. Who knows.

Very weird he didn't use a uni with the mrds ring cap.

Changes the title a little.

Didn't really realize that the NSW Recce is basically only seen in the hands of dev dudes so it seems as it's just a dev thing do added DG to the title.

Hoping to get mine all back assembled at the end of the month.
