Does anybody have hands on experience with the NGAL vs the RAIDxe (full power)? Pros/Cons?

I did not like the 87 different adjustments on the RAID-X (illuminator power, laser power, a whole menu of options accessible only through a tiny screen). The extreme adjustability is neat, but was somewhat distracting in actual use. Additionally, mine had a strange 'halo' effect when closing the aperture for the illuminator. I traded it for an LA-5 and cash.

I still have an NGAL, if that says anything. Simple, very powerful, clean illuminator and great form factor. One complaint is the on-board button placement, but I can live with it.

Interesting. Once the RAIDX was setup did you feel like you needed to keep messing with it or is it a system that can be setup and left be?

I am leaning towards the NGAL currently, I just haven't ever had time behind the RAID and was curious. I am also curious to see how the Eotech OGL will perform, I am just not sure I want to wait another 2 years for it.
