Lancer 300BLK specific mags that have tan floor plate. My 300BLK pistol is the only gun I own that has FDE furniture.
I dont use Lancer mags for any other gun. |

I use the foliage green Pmags and those bands.
They're the only foliage green items I own. |

I like the bands. Traditionally I've kept all my blackout in translucent lancers. I may have to get some bands to go with them.

I had sand floorplates I dyed red for my Mappul 300 mag and both my 300 uppers have a red band on the handguard right in front of the receiver

I use 20rd Pmags for my 300BO AR and 30rd Pmags for my 5.56 AR's.

What do you do if you have to ID by feel? IE, very dark, no wizard eyes, can't use light for reasons...

Lancer translucent smoke only for me in the .300 BLK guns. The only other translucent mags I have are converted for use in a valmet so no issue there.

I put my 5.56/.223 in pmags and my .300 in Lancers. This way I can tell by sight and feel which is which.

Helllll... I'd piss on a spark plug if i thought it would work.

I use m3 pmags with dyed sand floor plates. Similar idea.

I use those bands & and I only use the clear Lancers with my 300BLK that way I can visibly see they are 300BLK. All my 300BLK guns also have dust covers that say 300BLK on the inside & outside. Also the mag catch bars are FDE have 300BLK printed on them so they stand out as a different caliber as well.

I color code mags to guns.
300 blk = tungsten gray or multicam 6.5 Grendel = patriot brown 5.56 = black |
|
|
I exclusively use the Lancer .300 BLK smoke translucent mags with red floor plates.

Changed up, bought some .300 B.O. PMAGS. Couldn't find different color base plates so I used some Duracoat I had.

Anyone using the Lancer 300blk mags ever have issues with the supersonic rounds in it? I'm curious why Lancer would call out to use their 5.56 mags over their 300blk.
Picked up the 300blk mags myself for use with my supers/subs but haven't gotten to shoot that many supers yet. |

Found out accidentally the other day. I prefer 20rds for blackout because subsonic ammo is fucking heavy. |

View Quote Not sure about shooting supers in the Lancer 300BLK mags, but I've had several malfunctions shooting 150gr supers in Lancer 556/223 magazines. The top two rounds in the magazine will bind against each other and fail to feed. |

I spraypainted a few range mags with stencils "300BO"
They kind of look ugly, but work very well. The more people I shoot with that ask questions about those mags, the less likely someone is to do something stupid. For around the property and/or by myself, I use some Tam Fam mag bands on different mags. ![]() |

Translucent mags for 300blk.
I also 3d printed white index clips for my 300 blk guns. All my 556 guns use black mags and have green index clips. |

I like something simple so I used piece of colored tape. 55gr M193 yellow, 62gr LAP lime green, 64gr Speer JSP Blue, and 77gr OTM red tape.
