Wondering if this Aero handguard will fit Aero M5E1 upper?

That is an enhanced handguard. If it's for the 5.56 or .308, I don't know without scale. You wont need that nut for the enhanced upper, you option those when installing it on a standard threaded receiver.

Yep, that’ll fit an M5E1 upper (don’t use that barrel nut). On a standard M5 (non-E1) you’ll need that barrel nut.
As mentioned above, this is predicated on that being an Aero 308 handguard and not a 5.56 model. |

They are Aero handguards don't know which ones, but if they are designed for the M5e1 upper in 308, which is basically a DPMS high shelf upper, it should fit fine.
