I want to start a bhd/Mogadishu build, specifically I want to go for MSG Gary Gordons rifle and I'm having a hard time figuring out a few details. What model of suppressor did he use? I've seen speculation on ops inc model 3 but does anyone know what it was? Also did his rifle have grenade launcher cuts on it? Its not clear to me from the pictures what it is. Thanks in advance

Do a search for BHD build.
It might be in the A2 section. It was a pretty long thread. Can't remember if Gordon's carbine was addressed but it should give you some good info to start off with.

While I was at the local Walmart today,I was able to pick up a copy of Recoil magazine. This issue has a huge retro section of all the m4s and m14 sniper rifles used their in real life and in the movie BHD. It also has a nice chapter on the beretta m9 with the Knights armament silencer. Hope this helps

Carried this M9 south of Baghdad during a SR mission Feb 91'.  Might have carried the same one again in Baghdad in 03-04' as we only had 3 in the BN (scanned 35mm prints).  During Somalia we had another dive team from my BN there with one 18E from my team.  They carried standard M16A2s that we were issued at the time.

Played with the same ones before. The pistols are actual USGI M9s, which is kind of surprising to me as allot of effort was needed to retrofit the slide lock.

The suppressors themselves are basically baffleless with wipes.

The M9's are KAC units that use spacers and 7 neoprene wipes. They are rated for a maximum of 40 Rds of subsonic ammo. I've posted an image of one of mine on the Stoner 63 semi subject here before... I'll try to post the link...
