Just as the title asks, which would you go with?

The main reason I'm even considering the 951 is because the housing is "close enough" to the ODG of my federal rail. Otherwise I do realize that the compared to the HL-X the 951 with the Malkoff will be heavier and not have the same output.

But the question still stands, which would you do?

The Malkoff is no slouch in the lumens department. My "mod"-961 is a tank. I'm gonna go out on a limb and bet that the Surefire/Malkoff combo will be more durable than the HLX.

And it's just cool af.

I have 3 of the E2XTs. They are fairly impressive for size and weight.
