I have had several people ask if my adapter and magazines were compatible with the Olympic K45. I was looking for something in one of my black holes (aka storage rooms
 ) and stumbled across a K45 upper I forgot I had. A few minutes to look at it, and a few more minutes to mod the LRBHO actuator and damned if it didn't work. So if you have an olympic....you can order the mag adapter kit and put a note in the customer notes section that that is what it is going to be used with , and I'll make it happen for you. Olympic Arms AR45 upper with Macon Armory magazine adapter and mags. |

IIRC, there were two versions of OA K45 uppers. The older version used IMI Uzi .45 ACP mags with a welded on adapter, and the new version that used the OA polymer mags. The feed ramp on the older version had to be modified in order to use the polymer mags, and OA would do the modification free of charge.

The adapter I make takes that out of the equation......have tested the adapter on BOTH versions of the K45......I had both in my library at one time....but someone wanted one of them way more than I did
The only issue was the LRBHO actuator and ejector occupying the same place at the same time. With the mod the issue goes away.Rudy |
