Finally have another block 1 inspired rifle after foolishly cutting down the 14.5 socom barrel and shaving the fsb on the bottom rifle.

Here's mine. Still a WIP but I hope it's still acceptable.

It's a 16" SOCOM upper. Got it at a steal for $250. Thought about trying to flip it and getting the 14.5" but I quite like it as is.

Thats the stock, vertical grip and light I used for 3 years in the 101st. I rescued the KAC RAS from the trash because our lazy armorer didnt want to order a screw for the lock (which I still need ) Need to find a 14.5 barrel but for now this is what I can afford. Same with the PA 2.5 Prism optic, my aimpoint lives on my CASV-ELG upper.

I guarantee there's a cut for the grenade launcher on the barrel under the handguard. Upper is a Colt LE6920-EPR CK (Enhanced Patrol Rifle Conversion Kit) with standard M4 government profile barrel, Centurion Arms CMR MLOK 13.5 rail, Magpul BUIS and Vortex Sparc AR red dot. Lower is Colt LE6920 M4 Carbine with Magpul MOE K-2 grip, Colt ambi safety selector and B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD buttstock.

@Combat_Diver  Story on the AFG on the top upper?  Looks to me like it's mounted backwards to what's considered normal...

It is on backwards.  Didn't have it locked on and it when on the range the other day, hung it on the overhang support 4x4 on a nail and gun dropped to ground.  Just slide it back on without looking.  Course gun was unloaded and scope off at the time.

CD, what is the black grenade next to the pineapple? Some type of gas or shaped charge? I don't think I've seen one like before.

I always enjoy the extra "accessories" in your photos.

Anti Sturcture Muntion (ASM) grenade

ASM thread

As an SF Engineer I relate to them as a hand thrown dust initiator charge. Very fun explosive charge when thrown into a room.

Thanks, I'd heard of those but never seen one. I'm more familiar with thermobaric Hellfires from my first trip to Iraq in '05, which our Apaches had started dropping through windows to confine the effects to the interior of buildings.

Picked up an older TA01M4A1 ACOG for my M4gery. Came in the old school box and the product pamphlet still featured the Trijicon TriPower sight.
