Very innovated people. To my understanding the brass was kept aboard the gunships (AC-47 then the AC-130) because it was recycled and used back against us..

I’m surprised they used the fat hand guards, being small handed guys, it seems it would be difficult to get a good grip on it. Makes sense that they would hang on to all the captured rifles. But I think the Taliban has them beat on shear numbers!
When I was over there in 1999, they were driving US M151A2 jeeps. |

Does anyone know if the number under the Z111 logo is a serial number?
It the program only using Colts, or H&R and Hydramatics as well? What about slabside and partial fence lowers? |

Not bad after all we did leave 3/4 of a million M16A1/xm177 rifles and SMGs in Vietnam. Maybe in the future the Taliban will ask the Vietnamese how to refurbish their's.

They aren't making anything.... those barrels are probably all from NORINCO's QC line of ARs.
