I'm not seeing a big difference between the two other than break away torque, but I figured I'd ask before ordering. I typically just use blue 243 for small screws, but it seems that purple 222 is what is typically recommended.

I have 222MS.

I usually use 242 (blue) for most scope screws.

222MS doesn't really hold that well and I have never had an issue with 242 even on very small screws.

Hmmm, maybe I'll stick to the blue 243 then. I've really never had an issue with it.
