Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Light placement next to Warcomp

Just installed a Warcomp and it looks like the light isn't going to enjoy it. This is on a 9" rail with the light at 1 o'clock and a bit forward, it's perfect for me. The light head on my Streamlight HLX is right on target to receive all the blast from the Warcomp. I don't mind any carbon build up but I'm worried the light will break soon from taking the blast.

I have the same light and FH, and stops just short of the ports.  Lot's of rounds through it, not getting any build up on the lens.
