Nice kiss. I'll bet it carries (and shoots) like a dream.

If it were mine, I'd probably put an ESD sling on it.

Nothing special, but it works for me.

It's an old FN barrelled PSA upper.  It's the first AR I put together years ago, and it's been through several re-incarnations.

Spikes 14.5 midlength pencil profile (non-chf).

Not sure what role this rifle fills in my small collection, other than it's just fun to shoot.

LWRC M6-SL just waiting on the sling.
Mostly stock. I added an Aimpoint, Troy rear sight, MBT2s Trigger, BCM VFG, front QD sling mount, light and stabby thing. She's shoots well.

For what it's worth I like your setup. Good, light barrel. I'm a big fan of ALG rails, and I've always had a soft spot the car stock. Role: light, handy and does pretty much everything you need. Nice gun!

And since pic thread, here's a 12.5" midlength I just put back together with the brand new barrel. 100% suppressed role. I function tested this morning shooting various ammo with different buffers. Probably won't love steel cased or weak ammo, but didn't have any of that with me to try. Also don't think I'll be able to do an H2, wasn't reliable holding back bolt on last round. Carbine or H1 looks like the ticket and it's smooth as silk. I'm very pleased so far. Now here's hoping it's accurate.

- BCM 9" MCMR
- SilencerCo SpecWar 556K with ASR flash hider
- EXPS3-0 w/ Unity riser (debating on a magnifier)
- PSA Lower
- Geissele SSA-E
- H2 buffer

I wish someone/company would make midlength triangle handguards!

Top carbine is the same Colt CR6960 midlength that I posted on 4/ 14/ 2022 previous page, except I added a Magpul M-LOK forward angle grip, changed the LPVO to a Sig Sauer Tango MSR 1-6X24 illuminated BDC and the optic mount to a super high 1.93" Warne cantilever aluminum mount.

The carbine at the bottom is not a midlength, it's a carbine gas system 16" M4 barrel Colt LE6920-EPR CK (factory Enhanced Patrol Rifle conversion kit upper half) with Aimpoint Duty RDS, Surefire Scout weaponlight and the lower half is an older model Colt SP6920 marked "Sporter M4 Carbine" with Geissele G2S trigger.

My midlength carbine without the optic and empty weights 6.88 lb (6 lb 14 oz), compared to the factory configuration of 6.95 lb (6 lb 15 oz).

Thanks so much! It is a spikes 14.5 barrel I cut down to 12.5 and tuned. The handguards came from Numrich and were only $13 I coated them in gloss black with a little less hardener and the stock which is also a cheapy. I have always wanted a legit XM177ish and over time ended up accumulating everything except the moderator (Retro rifles) and decided to just do a pin weld mid-length.
