OK, enough teasing.  Want one.  When can I pre-order?  You said the official release is not until January.  It's January 27th.

High levels of interest for the forthcoming Primary Arms SLx 3x MicroPrism sight with the ACSS Raptor (7.62x39 / 300 BLK) reticle, seems perfect to place on top of my compact 300 BLK AR pistol build...?!?

Astigmatism - ready for micro prism - sold my last 2 holosuns.  tried the circle/dot as I heard it helped - not for me.  bought original 1X cyclops and its great.  2 or more micros in my future

I'll be waiting to put a preorder in, interested in how it compares to the Bushnell Lil' P I've been running on my lightweight rifle. Might be a good replacement depending how much the weight can be kept down.

I don't have much of a update yet. Remember this was what would have been a SHOT show introduction. Many of those are not shipping for several months, We show them so dealers can get orders in and plan shelf space.  For the new 1X Micro Prism there is one holdup. These use the same AutoLive circuit board as the GLx 2X, The factory is using everyone they can get right now to fill those backorders.

We did do a small run without AutoLive to send out so reviewers can see how well the all new optical system performs. You should start seeing that feedback soon.

AutoLive doesn't seem as important on a optic with an etched reticle and a limited battery life. Rather use buttons or a reostat than having every bump drain my battery... Now if it has a 80k battery life, sure that's a great feature..

I'd actually argue the opposite.
My 50k red dots just stay on all the time and I change the battery once a year, but if my HD gun has an optic with a 300hr battery life then I want it to stay off 99% of the time and come on when I pick it up for that bump in the night. With the etched reticle if that fails I've still got the reticle backlit with 1k+ lumens, but I'd rather not have to mess with a button or rheostat in that situation.

Similar to the current 1X but larger and a new 9mm reticle.

@Marsh1

The ACOG mini mount for the 1X - will it cover 3 or 4 slots on the rail?

Thanks

How does the eye relief/eye box compare to the 2x?

Be nice to see the reviews. Curious how well they work with night vision, think that'll be the selling point for me.

I'm definitely up for one at least. PA is one of the few newsletters I actually stay on.

...but if I can get a heads up here before the rest of the world buys them out....

Just picked up a PS90 to SBR.
I think i need one of these in a low mount.

I pulled the rail and sat a Cyclops 1x in there to test.
It's not bad, but not enough eye relief when sitting forward/low

Lucky dog!

Can you get a side-by-side with the 2x ?  How about a comparison of the view of the 1x and 2x ?

Maybe PSA will release the JAKL at the same time as PA releases the SLx1.

A couple questions from me. Will the 3x micro prism mount to carry handles with a screw? Will the 1x come in 7.62x39 and 9mm?

I want one. Any ballpark ETA? Weeks, months, end of year?

If you supply me with the sight and ammo, I'll beta test it for free!

Same. I just got rid of a 2X Acog that was on my MK18 because I wanted to get an optic for passive shooting. I was just going to get a T1, but with my astigmatism, if this performs decent with NV it sounds like a great option for me

MOMENT OF TRUTH...

New PS90, waiting on SBR stamp.

About to order a DM low mount for a micro aimpoint footprint.
Do i hold off and order a mini ACOG mount for one of these instead?

If the eye relief is any longer than on the Cyclops 1x you need to get one over to Design Machine for test fit on their mounts.
I think it would be a killer combo

I don't think they make one for the Mini Acog base (that is what the new 1X and the 1.5X Acog use) but the eye relief should work. The usable range is 2"-7" .   I will pull my PS90 out tonight and play withit

Sorry, you are correct, i was thinking about TROS

https://trosusa.com/ps90-accessories/

I would want it as low as possible, you know how high things sit on the PS90...
