Anyone cut a 16" 7.62 barrel down to 14" or 14.5"?
Curious how much this would affect the gas. Looking to pin and weld a flash hider and the 13.5" is a tad short.

Nice. Do you shoot it suppressed? I have a surefire socom 762rc that will be used sometimes.
I always hear the MWS is a little overgassed, but the rc isn't too bad with blowback. thinking I'll be fine, but always good to hear from people with firsthand experience.

MWS is gassy...you can slow it down with some H4 buffer and RBC gas key

Yeah my MWS can be a little over gassed when suppressed. Generally it runs fine but it can struggle with warmer ammo. A lot of people actually prefer chopping MWS barrels over buying the same length for this reason. I just got a slash buffer.

Rubber City Adjustable Gas Key is really the ticket for LMT MWS guns...can't really put a different gas block due to the way LMT drills the gas port at an angle...

Nice, thanks guys.
Is the rubber city gas key one size or is there a specific 7.62 carrier version?

All gas keys are the same...
