I’m looking for a MACEDON DEFENSE KRAM ACOG OPTIC SPACER. . They haven’t been in stock for a long time nor can I find one anywhere. Has anyone seen any by chance?

anyone using one of these? What's your experience with it?

There was a similar thread a few months ago. Numerous people said they have gone out of business.

I know Weapon Outfitters used to run them when he ran an ACOG- spoke highly of it.

Dang. That’s a shame. I’m trying to run a prism on a 7.62x39 bolt action and this spacer would really help.

They’re in business. Keep trying to reach them. I have some spacers in the way from them. I’m using them on the VCOG to clear my laser at work. He does batch runs of them so he needs people to be asking so it’s actually worth the time to produce a batch instead of just one or two individual orders.

They work as intended.  Raise the sight and move it further to the rear (very handy for TA-31s).  I actually run two KRAMs with a Browe BCO on a Larue LT799.

As stated - the guy who makes the KRAMs makes them in batches so FB or email him.

No problem, I got mine in and put one on my 1-8 VCOG. It raises it up but isn’t crazy tall.

I have a 9.0 that is perfect for mounting an acog over a matech.  I wouldn’t run a 4x without them.

We've been working on a new version and ironing out the kinks with screw lengths!  Should be able to release in a few weeks, before Christmas!

I ended up buying a few boxes of 10-32 low profile socket head screws from McMaster-Carr - 1/4", 3/4", 7/8" and 1", to be sure I could accomplish what I needed with mine; to care for the 4 screws up through the LT799, lower KRAM, upper KRAM and the BCO.

Would be nice if the normal LT100s had 5 mount holes instead of 2, but you can find the LT799s and LT622s sometimes.

Tagging so I can finally replace my ghetto TA31 setup.

Is a riser to get near a 1.93 height going to be a thing?

Will this still be out before Christmas Weapons Outfitters? I was on the waiting list on your site. I tried to look to see if it was in stock yesterday and now it gives me the Error/404 on the Kram link.

If you get the 5.5 Kram spacer for the 1-8 VCOG it brings the height to like 1.8 height so you can see over your laser or have a higher heads up style.

Guys, thanks for your patience!

Weapon Outfitters KRAM is Back!

Please note, the pictures need to be updated.  The DDC color is along the lines of all those 50 Shades of FDE anodize you often see, and different from the original Bronze.  We'll be announcing at large later this week once we have the instruction cards and pack-ins ready to go.

Also, the 9.0 KRAMs may need a 3/4 Screw to be compatible with thicker mounts.  We should have those and the cards ready to ship by this coming Monday.  So if you order now, it may be held for a couple days so we make sure to get the instructions in there.

Great news, those things should be standard on an ACOG.

I got the 7.0 spacer, I may get the 5.5 too just to see if it needs to be wee bit lowered. But for now, so far so good.

Are these just for clearing irons or is there a significant advantage for the ta31 to be spaced up 1/2”?

It gives me the perfect height for a 1/3, which was my goal.

I'm not using irons by the way, my back up is an RMR Type 2 offset. Would you care for a picture?

I am running a ta33 on my 10.3 with offset RMR. I'm planning on running the same offset setup with my new ta31 on an 11.5 build.

I'd love to see a pic

Yeah I think they make differend ad b3 models though.  How would I figure out to the one that fits the 4x ?

There's a Weapon Outfitters link several posts above, it will lead you the product in question. There's a list of compatible mounts there. I can say with certainty that it's also compatible with LaRue mounts too.

IMO, the 'best' mounts to use with Krams for an ACOG or a Browe are ones that have 5 mount holes, vs 2.  Makes them more flexible.  Examples with 5 holes would be an LT622 or LT799, vs the 2 hole LT100.
