This started off as a general JSOC thread but it's quickly become nothing more than talking about the Noveske Navy, so let's just dedicate it to that.

I'll get things started with a post about the Noveske guns. I'll come back and update this post with more info and tons more pics. But here's one of my favs so far:

Ayyyyy

LVAWish. Using a M4 lower until MCX lower is stamped.  Just need a Sig can and a Wilcox mount. I’m too poor for a NGAL.

This bottom rig may end up a horrigan-style setup with a leupold 3-9 or a S&B 1-4. Still on the fence on that one.

This is very much a WIP, the lower will get engraved, form 1'd and then spray painted and paired with the surefire in above pic for a "transitional" setup.

Sig Romeo 4T on a Wilcox riser. Have also been seen on LVAW and a UKSOF L119A2 in FDE.

Still working out the barrel and I know it’s a large frame, but it’s JSOC and early GWOT.

I’ve never seen a right hand shooter flip a 3X mag to the left.

Nice. It's honestly about time this got its own thread. I've got a few more parts to acquire before my contribution is ready.

Eta- as long as a clone of one of these counts, I'll soon have a contribution. Early gwot:Attachment Attached File

I was inspired and just bought a 40rd pmag and a taran tactical extension.

The mag is going to weigh as much as the gun with 300blk subs.

That's a lot of eclectic kit.

And a chopped M79 Vietnam leftover to boot.

It's so you can roll it against your body as you bring the rifle up. Didnt care for it as it seemed to block all my vision when it was flipped to the side..

Great thread!   Maybe not totally clone correct, but all 3 of these of guns were put together from inspiration.

Got most of the parts for the DEV Noveske.   Got the 10.5 Noveske barrel coming in this week, but still looking/waiting for the NSR rail and Gen III upper....then it all goes out for cerakote.

I know I'll probably catch s**t for this, but what's up with those tall RDS mounts? I'm old and my idea of tactical is still pic rails and FSBs. I prefer optics as close to the bore as possible, but obviously there's some "new" thinking on this.

Nice rifles by the way.

More “heads up” shooting position which is typically more comfortable/natural and for passive aiming with head mounted NODs.  Can also be beneficial when used in conjunction with gas masks.

Not the main topic of this thread, obviously, but it's interesting to see the Gen 5 Simmunition Glock. SF guys we worked with a few years ago just had replacement Simmunition slides on their issued pistols.

Lots of interesting photos here. Thanks for posting, everyone.

Man, I'm sorry I don't know the story. It was in the team room when I showed up. It was chambered in 300 blackout.
