Maybe a dumb question, but I have this geissele charging handle marked super charging handle, but with what are clearly the smaller airborne size latches. Was this an intermediate handle before the airborne was a thing?

They use to say super charging handle on the airborne version also.

Looks like an Airborne charging handle.
I have some URG-I ones that do not have the Geissele logo on them. The full size Super charging handle is larger. |
