I put together an upper using the CMMG 8” barrel/bolt combo. It makes for a
fun little blaster. I’ve used it on a pistol lower and SBR lower and everyone that shoots it really likes it. It’s not obnoxiously loud unsuppressed and sounds really good suppressed. The only drawback to me is ammo cost and availability. If you like your 5.7 pistol I think you will really like an AR in 5.7.  Attached File |

I own a banshee in 5.7. Of course I already own a PS90 SBR and an AR57 upper, FN five seven and the Ruger. I have also acquired LOTS of 5.7 ammo over the years. As far as the banshee, it is light recoiling, accurate and the 5.7 is a vicious round.. I wouldn't hesitate to use it for cqb.

I would get it if you have the $. I still have my AR57 upper so can't justify buying the Banshee (or just the upper kit).

If you have a 5.7 pistol you like, and the cash for ammo.....sure, makes sense.
