I think for the majority here this will be a fairly easy mag to identify, but I’m not as familiar with AR mags.

Is this a pre ban mag and if so, value change or worth holding on to?

Preban Okay Industries USGI mag.


Some pay a bit more for them.

Massachusetts guys/gals could use it.

are all metal mags marked with a date stamp like that? All of this style anyway? I dont have many... now I need to know!

As a general rule, is this accurate?

Pre-Sept 13, 1994 are not date stamped. Post Sept. 13, 1994 production are date stamped

Plenty of  Okay (Colt) and Center Industries mags with 91 and 92 outside dates. Some 80s Okay (Colt) with an interior date stamp too.

Some Center Inds. mags have a cage code and date on the opposite side as most mags. Sideways near the bottom of one panel. I have seen 91's and 92's marked that way.

Anyone have a pic of what the internal date stamp on the Okay mag looks like? I have pulled apart several but am only seeing an external stamp.
