They have been sitting for about 3 years. I don't want to buy the mill from harbor freight. i do have a bosch colt router and a not so heavy duty drill press. before i plop down $200 is there a better way to finish them besides the easy jig or the 5d tactical one? do i need cutting fluid or anything?

To me the best is the 5D. I use WD40 for the cutting fluid.

I'm just going to assume you mean lowers.

I have never finished an 80% with a router, just a mill, but you shouldn't need any coolant/cutting fluid.  Also, if you plan on sending them out for engraving it's a whole lot simpler to do that BEFORE you finish them.

Got my 5D in the mail yesterday and milled my first lower today. Took my time. First time I had ever used a router. Total time was bout two hours start to finish. Including learning to set up my new router.

Going to put an lpk in it tomorrow and see how it fits. I never imagined it would be this easy. Now I need to find a 9mm 80% lower with a Glock magwell.

My understanding is the 5d one will work. I don't think there is any difference in the two lowers except the magwell.
