It's dead on out to 400 yds with factory 110g Vmax and my 110g Vmax and fmj reloads. That's the furthest I've shot it so far.
I'm really liking the 6.8 ACOG. I have a TA31 on one of my 5.56 rifles and wouldn't give that combo up for anything.

Man!  You're certainly NOT making this easier on me, ( or more properly, my finances! )

My 6.8 loves that 110gr Vmax, too.  I only have two cases of it though.  I've been wanting to sell the Aimpoint M4s, ( and probably the Aimpoint 3X as well, ) to fund either a variable power scope or more likely, this ACOG.

Thank you for your input.

Just finishing up these two rifles.

Both 12.5" SBR's.  One in 556 and the other in 6.8spcII.  Both will be share a YHM Ti suppressor.  Both rifles are coated in Swedish K Duracoat. Still need to play with BUIS and wire management for the Dbal's but so far they balance and handle great.

This started out as a .25-45 Sharps, then I put a 20-inch Bison Armory 6.8 SPC II barrel on it.

Here's mine.

Upper is a PSA 16" midlength 6.8 with a Stag 6.8 bolt and some random (probably PSA) carrier from the parts bin I slapped on an Anderson lower.

I'm sorry to see PSA doesn't seem to be offering the 6.8 uppers any more.  With the FN barrel they were good deals when they went on sale.

Tossed this together for my dad for hunting season this year. Getting up in age so it might be his last active season. Noreen billet upper, Anderson lower. Barrel from CBC Industries. Lucid wood furniture set. Redfield Revolution scope. Kind of a budget build but should give him a few years of deer blasting fun.

[Last Edit: 50cal] [#14]
Twisted together a piston upper in 6.8
XSR15 side charger upper, Adams Arms piston kit. It has the replacement gas block for the XLP block they no longer offer. Samson Evo rail. And Wilson Combat stainless barrel. Slapped it on one of my other lowers I use for 6.8
Functions great on the 75% setting with everything I have on hand.
Not sure what optic is going on it yet. Have a Wilson Combat lower that I'm going to ceracoat along with the XSR15 upper and rail. Probably patriot brown or .midnight bronze.

I wish Magpul would come out with MCT furniture.

I had a guy that has a vinyl sticker business make mine. Just told him to pattern it after the Intel logo. Cost me about $3 , I believe.

I'd be a little concerned about throwing the wrong mag in the wrong rifle with such similar set-ups.  Nice builds, just the first thing that popped into my mind.  I've got kids, so I tend to worry about it a bit more.

Here’s my latest.

18” barrel and super bolt from the place addressed in variant rule #9, Leupold VX-3 3x9x40 scope in a Leupold mount. It’s been built since the first of the year but the range has been so wet I haven’t been able to shoot it yet and they are calling for another 6-8” between now and Saturday.

Details please! I know it's been awhile but if you see this I would like to know as well as with Kubota too, mostly interested in the barrel lengths, and how far out you can reach with them!

The 6.8 deer slayer. PSA upper and lower. Best shooting gun I own. Easily MOA at 100 yds. The X’s on the stock are deer kills.

My new Six 8 rifle.
Just finished putting it together, I was waiting on SLR adjustable gas block and gas tube.
Now to fire it and get it tuned just right. I plan on blackening the barrel when I'm sure it's all good.
LWRC receiver set
SSA-E trigger
Bison 18" barrel
SLR rail

Changed some things up. Took the pinnacle 1-6x off my .30-30, I like it's finer illuminated reticle more for smaller targets and twilight. Changed the nightbrake out for a synergy comp for less flash but same compensation. Put a 9-13" bipod on for better clearance and comfort instead of the 6-9". Replaced traditional nib charging handle with latchless one.
