I remember seeing the new 507 and 508's have a bigger button set with one on top and one on the bottom.

The ones I have seen lately seem to have gone back to the small side by side buttons.  Am I wrong and if I am not, why did they switch back?

I think trijicon came after them for some patent infringement type stuff right after the button change.

Trijicon whined and sued them. It is easier to sue someone than innovate.
