14' LC headstamp

Copper is crimped at the base. Projectile is lathe turned, likely tungsten or stainless. I believe it to be super cavitating ammo IE underwater stuff

I'll try to get you an answer from the folks at the International Ammunition Association.

Looks copper and aluminum. Tungsten is not going to be lathe-turned IMHO.

Any more info available? When and where did it come from? Do you have a box for it with any markings? Multiples, or is this a one-off?

Super cavitating  ammo.

If that's not it, it looks like high speed light weight projectile meant for being relatively frangible like some of the Lehigh defense stuff.

Per the IAA, this looks like South Korean "MEA" Multi Environment Ammunition. Trying to combine in-air and in-water performance. Some have tungsten (likely an alloy) cores and supercavitating design. One name associated with it is "Duretek".

Not sure if still experimental, or a gimmick vs. legit offering.
