USA mags I remember they had that hole for no real reason.

USA mag. POS. Don't waste time or ammo in it. Save yourself the headache and throw it in the trash or give it to someone you really don't like.

It looks of similar style & quality of some mini-14 mags I had in the 90's & early 00's.  They were pretty low quality.

Luckily I've got plenty of magazines already.  My brother in law picked it up and asked if I knew the manufacturer.  Told me he paid $25.  Why a guy would spend that with quality mags for less than half that.

Looks like a old Western Metal mag to me. Might be an old Promag. Looked at both of those and the catch was different. Only flat mag catch style mag I have is an old PMI mag.

I've heard that their poly H&K 93 mags are pretty good. My son has a few that are good range mags. Original H&K are pricey (big surprise) so the Promags fill a need, at least for those guns.
