You can convert an AR15 barrel if you can run a lathe. The threads for the extension are the same as the front trunnion in the ar180-though you might have to move the shoulder back. The rest is just profile work.

I'd reach out to John Thomas at Retro Arms Works and see if he could make one for you...
He made the barrel for my SAR-80 and did a fantastic job... |
