This is a stripper Anderson lower I bought 2nd hand. Website says hardened anodized but the only anodized parts I have experience with don’t look like this. Half the lower is as is stored condition, the other half I wiped down with gun oil. Just wondering what finish I have and what finish I need to look for in parts for everything to match up pretty well. Thanks in advance.

It's black anodized. The guy running the media blaster has heavy hands.

As for matching, the upper is all you need to be concerned with. Get an Anderson forged upper to keep it simple, and hope for the best. |
