I like the 12.5” Aero upper but I need access to the the muzzle for the Surefire QD. Will it look like shit if I chop an inch off the hand guard or have someone (professional) do it?

Will it look like shit if I chop an inch off the hand guard Yes, but you are the only one who will care so do what you will. Some handguards you can get away with it, but you are going to have a half of a slot open with that one. I would get a longer barrel. |
