Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - HELP. what size height rings do i need for a Sightron III 10-50X60 Scope mounted on my AR10 Rifle

I have returned 3 sets of mounts and rings , just not smart enough to figure it out. i have a AR10 RIFLE. I want to mount a SIGHTRON III 10-50X60 scope on it.I  have tried the 1 pcs Warne 30mm scope mount , scope bell bottoms out on the picanney rail , tried Buris Signature HIGH rings , bottom out , have ordered the extra high but i dont think they will be high enough ether. please dont give me some calculation to try to figure it out , that does not work. i just need someone that has this scope on a AR GUN and tell me what works. thanks. marty
