Is it worth spending the extra money to replace an old carbine buffer with a heavier version?  Carbine length gas system and standard buffer spring.  Is there a noticeable improvement with recoil or reliability?

Thanks

No reliability issues, ejection is good.  I am not sure when to replace a standard buffer and spring though

Thanks, I figured that the spring would get compressed.
